My time of prayer began Thurs., 6/23/11 at 6 a.m. Time went by very quickly. I spent the first part of my time praising the King with Psalm 34. I then entered into a time of asking the Father what was on His heart and how does He see His women in Midland. I waited quietly and then heard an encouraging word.
He stated that His remnant of Women are walking in holiness. The part that grieves His heart is that the remnant is small. He began to tell me of the things that were hindering His women from focusing on Him. I began to repent as he named: worldliness, endless activity of the works of the flesh, pride, full of ease and pleasure.
He stated that He is raising up a company of women warriors that will be totally focused on Him just as the women that followed Him while He was on the earth. The devotion of Joanna, Susanna and Mary Magdalene to Jesus was evident not just by their financial support but they had their eyes on Him, following Him. (Luke 8:1-3)
The Lord said that He has seen the fear upon His women, fearing losses of all kinds, health, position, prosperity, aging. He stated that this fear is a trap of the enemy to steal the great faith that once was evident in the lives of so many of His women. He stated that He is wooing His women and they will arise, shake themselves free of all the things that are hindering her from taking her position of pure devotion to Him in these last days.
I did intercede for the Kingdom women of Midland and am believing we will see an increase in the deep commitment of the women in the days ahead. How can we resist the wooing of the Holy Spirit. This makes me confident that change is coming!! O praise our glorious King.
